We haven’t even finished the 1st quarter of the school year and we have created replacement ID badges for over 10% of Moody students. PLEASE help your child keep track of their badge. Creating new badges is a timely process requiring multiple steps all of which can be avoided by implementing some simple strategies at home. Thank you for your help in making sure we follow the protocols set by the HCPS Safety Department.

The gifted identification process will run from October 22 through November 11. In order to help families decide if a referral should be made, the county has produced a video with additional information including how to make a referral. That video can be found here:  26-27 Gifted Identification Information. Wednesday, October 28 is a half day of school with dismissal starting at 12:15PM. If your child needs an early dismissal prior to the end of the half day, please make sure it happens before 11AM. 

The first marking period ends Wednesday, October 28. Quarter 1 grades will be available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal on Monday, November 16 by 9:30AM.
