Henrico County Public Schools’ Health curriculum contains age-appropriate Family Life Education (FLE) objectives and activities that are used to promote health literacy, healthy lifestyles, and relationships. Starting in January, HCPS family life educators and/or allied health professionals will present grade specific FLE content to students in small groups based on grade and gender. Families may review the FLE objectives by grade level, submit requests to review the materials, and find the Opt-out form on the HCPS Family Life Education webpage at: https://www.henricoschools.us/page/family-life-education/. Chilly fall temperatures have arrived. Remind your child to “dress for the weather” on their Brain Break days as we will still be going outside.

Are you rethinking your student's YouTube access? If you previously opted-in for secure YouTube access, but would now like to restrict your student's access so they can only see what the teacher assigns, please follow these directions:
Send an email to helpdesk@henrico.k12.va.us.
Include your student's ID number in your clear written (email) consent to the change
Include the specific opt-outs they want to change. For a list, check The Connection, HCPS' online services page.
Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
