On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, the world powers decided to stop or end World War I. Up until that point in history, World War I was the bloodiest conflict in world history. At the time, it was called Armistice Day. Over time, this day became known as Veterans Day. In honor of Veterans Day and all who serve in this nation’s military, please have your child wear red, white and blue to school on Tuesday.
