Sunday Message 3/12

Daylight savings time has begun. Did you remember to set your clocks forward?

As a Henrico County Public Schools parent or guardian, your views are important! Please take a few minutes to tell us about your perspectives and experiences. The survey should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. You have until March 31 to complete it and your responses are confidential. Thank you for your help! See the link in your email to take the survey. https://henricoschools.us/annual-schools-survey/

Please help the PTSA host a fun activity for teachers to be kids again as they race around to search for spring eggs!  We are looking for parents to supply pre-filled plastic eggs.  You can fill the eggs with anything you choose but if it is food, please make sure it is individually wrapped. Please have the eggs dropped off in the main office by Monday, March 27. Sign up through the link attached to the Sunday Message. With warmer weather right around the corner, now would be a good time to review appropriate school clothing with your child, as well as Henrico County’s school dress code. These rules are clearly shown on page 8 in the Code of Student Conduct. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tuesday, March 28 has been announced as a day off for students. The Day One/Day Two calendar determined by the County does NOT change when additional days off are “given.” With that being said, Monday, March 27 AND Wednesday, March 29 are BOTH a Day One. Day One/Day Two Calendar

This week’s quote comes from Theodore Roosevelt. “Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind.” Raiders, actions speak louder than words. How will your actions reflect your true self?

That’s all for now. Thank you for listening and enjoy the rest of your evening.
