Sunday Message 10/6

Good evening Raider Family! This is Principal Doss calling with the Sunday Message.

NWEA MAP testing continues this week with the reading test Tuesday, October 8th.

Parents, we need your help. A few weeks ago Moody’s administrators held their “Family Expectations” assembly. Students are still having some trouble remembering what constitutes acceptable hallway etiquette. We have four simple rules: 1. Keep your voice low. 2. Keep your language clean. 3. When traveling from point a to point b, please walk. 4. Keep your hands to yourself. Please reinforce these expectations with your student. Starting tomorrow, students who do not comply when redirected by any adult will be assigned a lunch detention and/or a further consequence. Thank you for your help.

Reflections entries are due by Friday, October 18. Students, please bring your Reflections contest entry along with the necessary, completed paperwork to the blue bin in the library. Click the link attached to this email for further information and entry forms. https://www.vapta.org/documents/arts-in-education/19-20-reflections/2224-19-20-student-packet-template-f/file

Calling all ghouls and goblins – Come join us for a screaming good time at Moody’s PTSA Monster Mash on October 25th, 7-9pm in our school’s gymnasium. The dance will feature DJ Cookie, fun food, and prizes for the best costumes. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 21 first thing in the morning outside the clinic. Students must have a signed permission slip by a parent or guardian to attend the dance. Permission slips can be found outside the clinic, on gomoodyptsa.com, or by clicking the link attached to this email. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ixI4vTGjoL0_DaDFgW0fdPJRoRpXhJlDjrxIf38wJbU

Parents please consider volunteering your time or sending in donations for our fall dance by using the signup link below. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d44a8a622a3f85-moody
