All Moody Band students traveled to Glen Allen High School on Thursday evening, March 14th, to perform in the District I State Band Assessment Performance. This is the culminating event of the year after the most rigorous period of instruction. Moody was the only school to enter three different band levels in the event; Beginning (6th grade), Intermediate (7th grade), and Advanced (8th grade). Band students learned how important it is to work as a team to produce outstanding results.
All three bands received straight SUPERIOR RATINGS!!! The best possible ratings! This is a wonderful accomplishment for our young musicians. Great job, Raiders!
