Sunday Message 5/26

Good Evening Raider Families,

Hope you and your family are enjoying the long weekend. School is closed tomorrow, Monday, May 27th for the Memorial Day holiday. When students return to school Tuesday, they will follow a day one schedule.

The end of the school year is quickly approaching. Please return library books as soon as possible. All library books must be returned by Friday.

Attention students – Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday May 29th are the last dates to submit your service hours to your APL teacher. Please remember to sign your name beside your hours on the spreadsheet provided by your APL teacher. You will also receive your new 2019-2020 service log during APL on Tuesday.

Our last PTSA spirit night for the year is THIS Wednesday from 4-8PM at Noodles and Company in Innsbrook.

The PTSA is offering a final snack basket for the staff on June 10th. Please click on the link below to see how you can donate to this very much appreciated event!

Reminder to all 8th grade parents…we are rolling out the red carpet for the 8th grade dance on June 7th.  We have extended the deadline for permission slips – please have your child turn it in no later than THIS Friday, May 31st!  We STILL need volunteers and donations! Any parent (not just 8th grade) can volunteer. Go to Gomoodypta.com for more information and to sign up to help.

Are you struggling to complete your 20 hours of service for this year or would you like to get a head start for next year? The PTSA dance committee needs volunteers on Thursday, June 6th  from 3:30-6:30, Friday June 7th from 3:30-6:30 or during APL on Friday, June 7th. Space is limited. See the sign-up genius link for more information. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080A4FACAB2DA64-volunteers

In order to maintain a cohesive schedule with other middle schools, Monday, June 10th and Wednesday, June 12th will both follow a Day Two schedule. Please remember, Tuesday, June 11th is a student holiday.

Please make arrangements to pick up your child’s medication from the school clinic. Any medications left at school will be disposed of at the end of the school day, Friday, June 14th. HCPS policy does not allow medications to be sent home with your child.

That’s all for now. Let’s make it a great week!
