Attention all Moody Christian Club members – We will have Muffins with Moms this Thursday, May 9th. We will start at 7:45am in the Teen Living building.

The teachers and students at Moody Middle School continue to support Relay for Life and its mission to find a cure, support patients, and to give hope to all who are affected by cancer. Relay is on June 1th at Pocahontas Middle 4 PM-10 PM. Participants are not required to attend the entire time, and hours at Relay can count toward this year’s service as action hours. This year’s theme is THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOPE, and we know that magic slippers and wizards aren’t all that are needed in this fight! Together, we’ll be a part of making a difference in this important cause. Thank you for supporting the Moody Marvels! To sign up to join our team, see the link attached.

This is a reminder that the final collection for service hours has been moved back to May 28th due to testing and potential upcoming volunteer opportunities. Families, please continue to check on for updated volunteer requests from our community. Also, any student participating in Relay for Life may use those hours toward this year’s service. Be sure to have Ms. Bradlee or Ms. Byrd sign off on your hours prior to turning them in. Students who are participating in Relay for Life should wait to turn in their service logs until after Relay for Life, however please be sure to get those signed and turned in to your APL teachers no later than the Wednesday following the event. If you have questions or need clarification, check with Mrs. Cassada in room 108 or email her at

Spring pictures need to be paid for or returned to your child’s PE teacher as soon as possible. Pictures came home last week.

“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.” As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, let’s be sure to thank a teacher or two for their hard work and dedication.
