8th grade parents: Please join us on Friday, June 8th, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., for the “Rise Up” Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our 8th graders. The event will take place in the gym. On Thursday, June 14th, 8th graders will have their Field Day/Picnic. This past week your child brought home a form that requests $10 to cover the cost of pizza and the 8th grade t-shirt. Please have your child return the form and money to his/her APL teacher as soon as possible. If you would like to volunteer for the Field Day/Picnic, please email Carey Smithson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students still seeking opportunities to fulfill their 20 hours of Service As Action, this message is for you. The PTA needs volunteers to stay after school next Thursday, May 31st from 3:30-5:30 to help set up and decorate for the 8th grade dance. If you are interested, please use the link provided to sign up for a spot https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080a4facab2da64-8thgrade Be sure to bring your SAA log with you that day to get it filled out. Have a PTA volunteer sign off for you and return your form to Mrs. Cassada as soon as possible. Students who have completed their hours for the year but still want to help out are more than welcome to join in on the fun!
The end of the school year is quickly approaching. Please return library books as soon as possible. All library books must be returned by Friday, June 8th.
Laptop collection is right around the corner:
8th grade – Monday, June 11th
7th grade – Tuesday, June 12th
6th grade – Wednesday, June 13th.
